My strength lies in being able to see the ‘big picture’ as well as the details that make a great product. I have a deep understanding of the design process from research to design and development. I am able to communicate design ideas across cross-functional teams to gather requirements, meet business objectives, while being an advocate for the user.
SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER, VERIZON, SEPT 2016 — PRESENT
Working across multiple products to work on multi-disciplinary teams to enhance usability and create customer-focused products.
Lead the experience on Verizon Digital Signage to design new features and user-test prototypes to better understand our customers, create requirements from customer feedback, and design and maintain all support content. Work closely with user-research to create product strategy based on our competitive studies, customer feedback, and sales strategy.
Design user flows and concepts for 5G Professional Install. Incorporated feedback to enhance application for installers. Lead the user experience for all updates based on feedback and hardware changes.
Verizon partnered with Greg Norman to bring technology to the golf course. Designed a tablet UI that incorporated all requirements and was golfer-friendly. Participated in user-research and workshops to brainstorm new uses of technology on the golf course.
Re-designed the Verizon Cloud responsive website navigation to be more user-friendly. Strategized new features sets that were implemented by the business and development teams.
USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER, PLASTIC-CRAFT, 2016
Worked with the marketing and development teams to streamline business requirements for the client to compete in the marketplace. Created wire-frames and style guides for both Plastic-Craft.com and PlasticCuttingboards.com which lead to an increase in sales.
USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER, EFFECTIVEUI, 2014 — 2016
Worked with American Express to launch the Plenti Loyalty Program. Designed and maintained wireframes for the responsive website Plenti.com. Re-designed the dashboard of the Plenti app for both Android and iOS. Other major clients and projects include AMEX FXIP and TIAA-Cref.
